Gabriel's sledge, and most big heavy weapons, are actually terrible. The various 1h blunt baton weapons are incredible, especially with the magic wand mod. If you do go 2h, metal kanabos are rare but very good, and bo staves are the absolute pinnacle- they can put a hurting on your stamina, but have incredible dps and good reach.

Change weapons in Dead Island 2. You can switch weapons using the weapon wheel. The weapon wheel can be opened by pressing and holding the triangle button on PS5, the Y button on Xbox Series, and pressing and holding the mouse wheel on PC. There are 13 different Curveballs in all, in Dead Island 2, and having a good selection you can switch on the fly is such a valuable thing to have in your arsenal. For instance, it’s no good trying to take down an Inferno Crusher, like the one Dead Island 2’s The Final Gauntlet quest, if all you have is Molotov Cocktails and Sticky Bombs.

I tried figuring it out, it seems it doesn't rotate around the wheel clockwise or counter clockwise, and not in the order you equip them either. Just to be clear too, I'm not talking about hitting the quick switch button, I'm talking about throwing a weapon and the game automatically switches to the next weapon. Any help would be greatly
