hi i have a problem with my car can anyone help . my x type 2.1 v6 2003 has started making a popping sound coming from air intake it makes the sound on idle and the revs drop then pick back up if its left idling it will keep doing it but when i rev it goes away what can this be i know its not plugs coz i just changed then 2000 miles ago. Local dealership ordered the C2D27266 Purge Valve "from the factory in England" at the beginning of August, and has zero info beyond "it's backordered". I have a X-Type Jaguar 2.5 V6 (2002) which has only done 46000. The engine is quiet and the ride is very smooth with no problems with gear change however when I reach around 55mph there appears to be some vibration and excessive road noise. BgwPJ72.
